Bring On the Festive Cheer! Here’s Where You Can Watch Carols by Candelight

2021 has been intense. Lockdowns, Delta (the variant not the treasured Aussie singer) ravaging the country and now Omicron. So when we heard Carols by Candlelight was going to be airing soon, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of festive cheer.

Christmas isn’t complete without watching Carols By Candlelight on the telly, and with the opening of state borders, families can now reunite and watch the special together

One of Australia’s most beloved holiday traditions will be airing on December 24, and alongside singing Christmas carols, the show will also help raise funds for Vision Australia’s children’s services.

The event is Vision Australia’s biggest annual fundraiser for children’s services, and all proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards supporting over 2,300 families whose children are blind or have low vision.

Today host’s Ally Langdon and David Campbell are set to host the show, live from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.

“I can’t wait to be back hosting Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight this year. I love Christmas! It’s such a special time of the year, especially when you have small kids. I couldn’t be happier to be part of Australia’s much-loved Christmas Eve tradition and to help raise money for children and their families who are blind or have low vision,” Ally told Mediaweek.

Carols by Candlelight is expected to be attended by 10,000 people, in line with the Victorian Government’s post-lockdown framework.

Performers include global superstar Tones And I, Anthony Callea, Bonnie Anderson, and many more.
