Where Are the 2023 Logies Awards Being Held?

The Gold Coast had been the host of the Logies since 2018. This year, the event has now found a new home. Seven West Media Managing Director and CEO, James Warburton, made the decision to move the Logies to Sydney.

He said that bringing the awards back to Sydney made perfect sense, as many of the country’s major production companies and TV networks are based in the city.

“Seven has exciting plans for the Logies. They will be different, bigger than ever, spectacular and a great celebration of Australia’s love of television,” he added.

Perrottet himself said that bringing the Logies back to Sydney after three decades will be a game-changer for the state. He said that the awards will showcase the glitz and glamour of the city’s vibrant nightlife.

“Television’s night of nights now has its rightful home in The Harbour City, showcasing the glitz and glamour of our vibrant nightlife. This will inject millions of dollars into the NSW economy, creating hundreds of jobs in production, hospitality and events,” Perrottet said.
