Megan and Brian first met on the set of Hope and Faith, and they began dating in 2004. “I met Megan on that, and she was really young. And I was like, ‘This isn’t this. This can’t f*cking happen. This isn’t going to happen, no way.’ And so I left and she was just really persistent – and thank God,” Brian previously said on Barstool Sports’ KFC Radio podcast.

The duo got engaged in 2006, though they briefly broke up in 2009 before eventually tying the knot in June 2010. In 2012, they became parents to their son Noah, before welcoming their two other sons, Bodhi and Journey, in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

Megan and Brian had their history of ups and downs; they split again in 2015, but they got back together in 2016. However, in May 2020, Brian confirmed that he and Megan had separated after nearly 10 years of marriage in December 2019.

“I will always love her,” he said. “And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special,” Brian said on his …With Brian Austin Green podcast. “It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change. There’s the unknown aspect . . . there’s that pit in my stomach . . . I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds . . . she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”

Shia LaBeouf

During one of Megan and Brian’s breakups, there were rumors that Megan was romantically involved with her Transformers costar. Megan and Shia filmed Transformers in 2007 and a sequel in 2009. In an interview with Details magazine in 2011, Shia confirmed that he and Megan were once romantic. “Look, you’re on the set for six months with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he explained. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing.”

However, it wasn’t until 2018 that Megan finally confirmed the rumors herself on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live!. When asked if she and Shia ever dated, Megan replied, “I mean, I would confirm it was romantic. I love him. I’ve never been really private about that. I love him.”

Now, Megan appears to be moving on from Brian with MGK. Megan first met the rapper on the set of their upcoming movie, Midnight in the Switchgrass, and they’ve been hanging out ever since. In May, MGK dropped his video for “Bloody Valentine,” in which Megan plays his love interest. The song also features lyrics like “I’m calling you girlfriend” and “In my head, I’m laying naked with you.”

Brian previously addressed the MGK speculation on his …With Brian Austin Green podcast, saying, “She met this guy, Colson, on set . . . I’ve never met him . . . Megan and I have talked about him. They’re just friends at this point . . . I don’t want people to think her or he are villains or that I was a victim in any way.”

However, according to Us Weekly, Megan and MGK’s relationship has since turned romantic. “Megan thinks MGK is a really cool guy,” a source told the outlet. “They have definitely hooked up and are seeing where things go.” In June, the two basically confirmed their romance when they were spotted kissing in LA.
