‘Married at First Sight’s’ Jake is a Country Boy Who Wants to Make the World a Better Place
Jake is looking for a woman who will love him for himself and not try to take advantage of him — something has struggled to find in the past.
Having struggled with depression himself, the 32-year-old ex-AFL player is the CEO of a mental health charity called Outside the Locker Room which aims to deliver welfare and education programs that build both collective and individual mental health and wellbeing.
Jake grew up in the country and, as a result, values those good old country manners. He was previously engaged but decided to end the relationship when he realised he was no longer in love.
For this deep thinking Victorian country boy, having a family is a huge priority and he finds himself feeling envious of his siblings who have already become parents.
Participating in Married at First Sight, Jake is hopeful that his soulmate awaits so that he can settle down and create the family he has always dreamed of.
