For most people, when you mention LEGO, you recall the pain of stepping on one. For the teams on Lego Masters, you mention LEGO and they see incredible, awe-inspiring creations — and then they go and build them, too.

Wildly popular (it’s on its third season!) Lego Masters is hosted by funny-man and Australian radio icon, Hamish Blake, and judged by “The Brickman”, Ryan McNaught.

This season, which premiered Monday, April 19, promises bigger, better and more exciting challenges than ever before.

Eight new teams are competing for the (LEGO) trophy this year, ranging from couples, besties, and even a pair of cool mums — but only one team can win.

But all bricks have to come tumbling down, and some masterpieces smash it while others…well, they just get smashed.

Here’s who didn’t quite build a successful path to the finale of Lego Masters.
