Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawns has now officially kicked off for 2021, with a new batch of very brave contestants taking on a series of intense challenges in order to win $500,000.

This year, of course, the popular reality competition aims to answer the age-old question of what reigns supreme? Mind? Or Muscles?

The castaways this year have certainly got their work cut out for them regardless of which team they are on, as they fight to survive the searing heat and treacherous creatures of the Aussie outback up in Cloncurry, Queensland.

“From a production point of view, it was tough, but for the contestants, it was even harder; you’ve got that blistering temperature, you’ve got the wildlife that can kill you, snakes, spiders, crocodiles, and then there’s the lack of food,” host Jonathan LaPaglia told POPSUGAR Australia.

Not to mention the fact that they will have to outwit, outsmart and outlast the biggest snakes of all — each other.

Speaking to The Latch about the goal of the game, LaPaglia said, “Look, I think season one was a little hamstrung by the idea of mateship.

“It’s something that’s part of the Aussie culture, but it’ll only get you so far in the game of Survivor, because the name of the game is voting everyone else out, right?”

With that said, here is everyone who has been voted off of Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawns so far.

Australian Survivor: Brains Vs. Brawn airs Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play on Demand.
