Say goodbye to the Willy Wonka you thought you knew! Timothée Chalamet brings a whole new flavour to the iconic character. In the trailer, we catch a glimpse of a more optimistic and ambitious Wonka, with a dash of quirkiness that only Chalamet can deliver. Watch as he works his way from his humble tiny apartment to shake up the stuffy and closed-off chocolate industry.
The trailer saves the sweetest surprise for last! None other than Hugh Grant himself makes a whimsical appearance as an Oompa Loompa. Yes, you heard that right! Grant dons green hair, orange skin, and a mischievous grin as he captivates us in a glass bottle.
“So you’re the funny little man who’s been following me,” Chalamet tells him in the trailer.
Grant responds: “I’ll have you know I am a perfectly respectable size for an Oompa Loompa.” Before busting out a flute to perform an Oompa Loompa dance.
