“The Crown” star Emma Corrin was spotted in the stands watching the nail-biting Wrexham FC vs. Notts County football match in Wales on 10 April, as they joined fellow A-list actor, and co-owner of Wrexham FC, Ryan Reynolds. The game was arguably the biggest of Reynolds’s takeover as the team took on rivals Notts County to battle for promotion from the National League.

The game finished 3-2, but the crowd were given some last-minute drama that would rival the upcoming Corrin-Reynolds superhero movie. Notts County were given a penalty in the seventh minute of stoppage time, which was saved by goalkeeper, Ben Foster, leaving the home crowd going wild and Wrexham FC sitting at the top of the league where they could get promoted to League Two – the fourth tier of English football.

Amongst the cheers sat Corrin, alongside an unnamed friend, who was supporting their costar, Reynolds. The pair are appearing in “Deadpool 3” together, as the 46-year-old recently welcomed the star to the cast. “New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin!” he tweeted. The actors even posed for a cute selfie together after the game.

Since purchasing Wrexham FC in 2020 with fellow actor, Rob McElhenney, the football club has attracted a lot of public interest, as well as celebrity fans. Just last month, Reynolds brought his whole family along to The Racehorse Ground in Wales, including his wife Blake Lively and their four kids, while David Beckham and Will Ferrell have been spotted at games, too. And there’s even been royalty stepping out on the pitch.

Read ahead to see all the celebrity support that Wrexham FC has received at their matches.
