Ariana Grande "7 Rings" Music Video

Say Goodbye to "Thank U, Next," Because Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" Is Our 2019 Anthem

It's finally here! After keeping us waiting for what felt like ages, Ariana Grande dropped the music video for her new single, "7 Rings," on Thursday night, and it's now our official anthem for 2019. The song is all about female empowerment and was born out of a shopping trip Grande took with her friends following her split from ex-fiancé Pete Davidson back in October 2018.

"'Twas a pretty rough day in NYC. My friends took me to Tiffany's," Grande tweeted this past December. "We had too much Champagne. I bought us all rings. It was very insane and funny." Apparently one of Grande's pals suggested she turned their trip into a song, and well, here we are. The video remains true to Grande's aesthetic: lots of pink and a whole lot of sexiness. Singer Victoria Monét even makes another appearance (she also appeared in Grande's "Thank U, Next" video)! So excuse us, we'll just be over here watching the video on loop until Grande drops her next song.
