The Way Miley and Ariana Are Supporting Each Others' Music Is the Energy I Need Right Now
In the midst of the internet being abuzz with . . . this . . . the singers took to social media ahead of the release of their brand new singles on Thursday night to support each other via a sweet Twitter exchange. It all started with a tweet from Grande that referenced the current feud between Drake and Kanye West. "Guys, I know there are grown men arguing online rn but Miley and I dropping our beautiful, new songs tonight so if y'all could please jus [sic] behave for just like a few hours so the girls can shine that'd be so sick thank u," she wrote.
Shortly after, Cyrus chimed in to support Grande's plea for peace and to plug her new song. She wrote, "Didn't they hear the news ?! War IS over ! Thank you , next!" Hours later, Grande dropped her single, "Imagine," while Cyrus released her collaboration with Mark Ronson and Sean Ono Lennon, a cover of "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)."
