Hamilton is one of the biggest musicals of all time, so it’s no surprise that it’s now making Emmy history! On Tuesday, the Disney Plus feature scored a whopping seven nods, breaking the record for most nominations in the limited series or TV movie acting categories, including the most POC of any series or TV movie ever recognized.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Leslie Odom Jr. are both up for lead actor in a limited series or movie, while Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff, and Anthony Ramos all scored nods for supporting actor in a limited series or movie. On top of that, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Phillipa Soo are both nominated for supporting actress in a limited series or movie. And to make matters even more exciting, Goldsberry’s nomination puts her a step closer to obtaining EGOT status, as she’s already a Tony Award and Grammy Award winner.

This year’s Emmys will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer on CBS and Paramount Plus, so tune in on Sept. 19 to find out who takes home the gold.
