Ratched: Watch the Trailer For Ryan Murphy's Netflix Series

Step Into the Cuckoo's Nest With the Terrifying Trailer For Ryan Murphy's Ratched

Usually, I love a woman who speaks her mind, but every word out of the mouth of Sarah Paulson's Nurse Ratched feels like a step closer to a grisly demise. The final trailer for Ryan Murphy's new Netflix series, Ratched, dropped on Sep. 8, and it is as terrifying as we expected. The series serves as a prequel to the popular Ken Kesey novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and follows Mildred Ratched in 1947 as she seeks employment at a Northern California psychiatric hospital. Though Mildred presents herself as an altruistic, dedicated nurse, she's a dark soul with the desire to infiltrate the mental healthcare system and those within it.

Finn Wittrock, Jon Jon Briones, Charlie Carver, Cynthia Nixon, Sophie Okonedo, Judy Davis, Sharon Stone, and more star alongside Paulson as the growing darkness within Nurse Ratched reveals that true monsters are made, not born. You've got chills down your spine, don't you? Well, get ready to be seriously spooked when Ratched premieres on Netflix on Sept. 18!
