Unpregnant Movie Trailer

Unpregnant Is a Buddy Road Comedy With an Unlikely Objective: Abortion

The latest YA book-to-film adaptation is arriving just in time for some perfect fall viewing. HBO Max's latest feature film Unpregnant — based on the novel of the same name — hits US screens in September, and is likely to make its way to Foxtel and Binge in Australia, and it's taking Barbie Ferreira and Haley Lu Richardson on a wild, three-day ride as they take on complicated friendships and difficult decisions on the road to adulthood.

Holding onto a pregnancy test in a bathroom stall, eagerly awaiting the tiny blue line to not show up, Type A 17-year-old Veronica (Richardson) is suddenly faced with a life decision she never imagined she'd have to make. As she decides to embark on a trip to get an abortion, she enlists her ex-best friend (Ferreira) to help her on a wild 1,000-mile journey to New Mexico — along the way realising that one of the most important decisions you make in life is choosing who your friends are.
