It's always a treat when former High School Musical castmates revisit songs from the Disney classic. Vanessa Hudgens is one of the latest to take a trip down memory lane, as she recently crooned a socially distanced version of "Breaking Free" with Broadway star Max Clayton. Hudgens, who plays Gabriella Montez in the film, initially shared a clip of her performing the tune as a solo. But as soon as her friend wanted in on the fun, she was totally game. "I LOVE @maxmclayton and u probably will too after u watch this lol," Hudgens captioned an Instagram teaser. "He did a duet and it's hilarious." The pair has previously teamed up for an HSM mini-concert, singing "Gotta Go My Own Way" back in April.
Hudgens recently reconnected with her HSM costars for the Disney Family Singalong performance of "We're All in This Together." Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel were some of the other former Wildcats featured in the special. Now, please excuse us while we go rewatch all three High School Musical movies.
