When Is Gossip Girl Leaving Netflix?

Gossip Girl Is Officially Leaving Netflix, So You Better Binge Watch All You Can Now

Come next year, Gossip Girl will have a brand new home at HBO Max. While the popular teen drama has been a staple on Netflix for many years, it was recently announced that HBO Max has acquired the rights to Gossip Girl and many other CW shows produced by Warner Bros. That means if you rewatch the series on a regular basis like me, you better soak up all the Upper East Side drama while you can.

So, when exactly will Gossip Girl disappear from your queue? While Netflix hasn't announced an official date, HBO Max is set to launch in May 2020, so the switch will likely happen next Spring.

While we're definitely sad to see Gossip Girl leave Netflix, there is a silver lining. HBO Max will also be the home of the recently announced Gossip Girl spinoff, which takes place eight years after the original series. In the meantime, I'm going to have a nice little binge-watching session.
