Surprise, Darlings! Cruella de Vil Is Actually the Biggest Trendsetter at NYFW This Year

Black and white is such a classic style combo that Cruella de Vil built her entire brand around the monochrome pairing, and coming off the success of Disney’s Cruella reboot, celebrities attending New York Fashion Week are taking cues from the stylish villain. Whether purposeful or completely subconscious, celebrities like Kehlani, Jhené Aiko, Kimiko Glenn, and more are paying homage to the polka-dot-loving fashion designer with a variety of looks that would be right at home in the world of 101 Dalmatians.

From ruffled dresses and bold red lipstick to speckled tights and evening gowns so extravagant Cruella herself would definitely feel upstaged, these celebrities brought their style A-game to NYFW. Now, all we have to do is keep an eye out for any puppies on the runways. Experience more Cruella de Vil-inspired outfits ahead and relive some of Glenn Close’s original 101 Dalmatians looks here.
