Alice McCall's Runway Just Transported Us to the Most Glamorous Era
"Alice McCall's archetypal rock chick has been let loose in her socialite mother's closets, she's pilfered the heirloom Italian couture and is wearing it out to the club."
That was how Alice's 2018 resort collection was described in the show notes, and from the very first look — the concept came to life. A nod to the glamour of the 1940s and '80s was made through smokey ostrich feathers, rouched sleeves and swishy skirts painted in pastel hues of apricot, ocean blue, lemon and rose.
What a way to kick-start day two Australian Fashion Week.
Colours: Apricot, ocean blue, shell, rose, lemon and porcelain.
