The Important Reason You Need to Know About This New Accessory Collection
This feature is dedicated to our #NoChangeNoFuture initiative. From the Women's March, to Australia voting yes to same sex marriage, and the #MeToo movement, 2017 taught us to look beyond ourselves and come together as a collective of powerful women who are writing our own history. Join us as we cancel setting one-dimensional personal resolutions this January and commit to being the change we want to see. Because without change, there is no future.
We are forever on the hunt for new ethical and socially conscious designers to support, and our latest discovery is possibly our favourite to date. Enter, Emma Nott.
The Australian designer launched her own accessory label, Ametrine, in 2016. The collection may be small, but it is robust in quality . . . The bags and clutches are hand-crafted in her Perth studio, and inspired by geometry and shapes — the ultimate accessory for modern women with that enviable clean, minimalist aesthetic.
But, it's her capsule collection that dropped today — Unbreakable Fragility — that is most impressive to us. The collection of embroidered clutches was not only designed to uplift women, but to support them; 100 percent of the profits will be donated to Zonta House — an organisation that provides accommodation and support to women in crisis.
The capsule is available to shop now, so scroll to add a clutch to cart and to read our interview with Emma. This is one purchase you'll feel really, really good about making.
