Asos Just Got a Little Bit More Fancy
On one end of the sartorial scale we have Fashion Week, with its exxy prices and designer labels. On the other, we have the high street brands bringing on-trend fashion without all the zeros before the decimal point on the price tag (ahem, Asos).
The new Asos white collection is a bit of a blend between both worlds. While it's definitely not going to require that you to handover the type of cash expected for catwalk collections, it is a little bit more costly the e-tailer's traditional offering. What you're paying for is a collection that's just a little bit more fancy — the quality is better, fabrics feel more luxe (that's you, butter-soft leather pants) and everything feels just a little more minimalist. A pair of cotton culottes in the range will cost you about $125, while you will have to part for close to $180 for a cashmere, roll-neck jumper.
