A list of the Designers Confirmed to Show at Australian Fashion Week This Year
The preliminary schedule for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia 2019 has officially been announced. And it's good, real good.
Australian designers will show their Resort 2020 collections at Carriageworks in Sydney, Australia from May 12 to 17 next year. Aje will open the week-long event on the Sunday evening, and Bec & Bridge will kick off the first full day of shows the following day. It will mark four years since the event shifted from Spring Summer presentations to resort, as the change continues to see growth and success.
"The event's continued growth underscores the value of its 2016 repositioning, which established Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia as the world's first Fashion Week focused exclusively on Resort Collections," commented Natalie Xenita, Executive Director, IMG Fashion Asia-Pacific. "We've since seen double to triple-digit growth across designer participation, international media and buyer attendance."
