Can you believe it's December already? We're reminiscing about the fashionable year that was with our 2011 Sugar Awards. We'll be getting you to vote daily on everything from best dressed celebrity to the year's most seen-everywhere-shoe, to your favourite local labels, but first up we're going to get your counsel on which designer brand made the biggest spash in 2011.
The nominees include Louis Vuitton, who made fetish-wear seem completely normal for the red carpet, Miu Miu whose 1940s tea dresses and glitter heels were worn by every starlet worth her fashion clout, as well as big-sister brand Prada whose candy-coloured stripes and kooky-cool flatform peepers set the tone for Summer. Gucci gets a nod for making colour-blocking the one trend we couldn't avoid, then taking us on glam-packed trip back to the 1920s, whilst Stella McCartney's much-loved A/W '11 collection made sheer spots 'a thing'. Then, there's Chanel. From post-apocalyptic glamour to ladylike haute couture to an Under The Sea fashion fantasy — it was a season after season of fashion hits. Which fashion house do you think deserves the FabSugar crown for most influential, most inspiring, most worn and most loved label of 2011?
