Beyonce's label House of Dereon accused of copying E-Labels studded legging design

Global Watch: Stop, Thief! Oh Wait, It's Only Beyonce...

Uh-oh, Beyonce did a bad, bad thing. The House of Dereon label she created with mother Tina Knowles is under fire this week due to a pair of studded leggings featured in their new ad campaign. It seems the design is eerily similar to a pair by Icelandic label E-Label, which Beyonce purchased from their Topshop concession store late last year. Both styles feature silver studs, with the only variation being the different amount of rows on each leg. Co-owner of E-Label, Helba Hallgrimsdottir, told The Daily Mail that she was unsure how to tackle the situation next. "We need to inspect the brand's trousers closer because, according to law, it is not copied if a certain number of things have been changed from the original design." Beyonce features in the new campaign wearing just the leggings and a pair of moto-style boots. Tsk, tsk!
