For her first official royal (painted) portrait, Kate Middleton stayed true to her high street roots — wearing something not from a luxury British label, but from French Connection. The navy blue bow-front blouse fits perfectly with HRH's polished sense of style, combining both the classic and the feminine — although at the time of the portrait's unveiling at the National Portrait Gallery in London we didn't know it was by trusty FC! Best news is that the silky topper, originally from the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, will be hitting local French Connection stores (and online) in late Feb and will be priced at $99.95. We suggest that you regularly hit that 'new collection' tab, because this royally approved blouse is bound to sell out fast.
