If you'd like to get up close and personal with some serious couture, why not take a trip to the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane and catch the Valentino Retrospective: Past/Present/Future. It's on now until November 14th and displays the very first collection designed by Valentino Garavani in 1959 right through to the modern day creations by new designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli. Gowns worn by celebrities including Cate Blanchett, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis are also included in the exhibition. If you were a fan of the documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor you'll remember that each gown is painstakingly sewn by hand, making viewing these dresses up close and personal ultra special. To celebrate these amazing gowns in Oz I thought we'd take a little look back at 10 memorable Valentino gowns on the red carpet, you ready?
