Designer Hannah MacGibbon tapped into her girly side for Spring '11, transforming classic ballet basics into a mature, feminine and streamlined Chloé collection. A mainly neutral palette of peachy nude, milky white and deep taupe were displayed against black separates and a stand-alone deep red coat. Gauzy tulle fabric was presented in swishy skirts and tutu-style cut out dresses, while more tailored pieces inlcuding straight leg pants, a V-neck wrap dress and boxy jackets kept things minimal but interesting. Zip-detailed clutches, ankle strap sandals and buttery soft ballet flats were the perfect clean and simple accompaniments to this fresh and breezy collection. Seriously beautiful.
