Christopher Kane worked his magic on leather, lace and floral embroidery for his London Fashion Week show, updating the little black dress to appear "a little bit perverse and ironic." The combination of edgy and innocent played throughout each piece, as short hemlines and peek-a-boo lace inserts were toned down by intricately detailed floral embellishment.
Lace-up heels were a strong focal point, highlighted by A-line and pencil style skirts, while simple shift dresses and tanks were decorated with studs and coloured jewels. I wanted to like this collection so much, but unfortunately, I'm a little confused. If you fall into the middle category of good vs. bad girl, then I suspect you'll feel the same. See what I mean below.
