Swedish chain store H&M has come under fire this week with reports that their New York stores destroy and throw out unsold merchandise after each season. This unusual practice sees countless bags of clothing and plastic hangers thrown away rather than be re-used or donated to charity.
This got me thinking a lot about disposable fashion and the different ways we can get rid of old clothes. I like to refresh my wardrobe after each season and categorise piles into markets, eBay and charity. How about you? Do you throw, donate, sell or swap your old clothes?
