Showing in Australia for the first time in 10 years, Australian fashion darling Collette Dinnigan presented her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection last night at David Jones in Sydney. Titled Bella Sicilia, the feminine range was shown in Paris earlier in the year, but re-presented to Australian audiences because Dinnigan did not feel it had been given the proper birthing in the small-scale international show. "I didn't do a show in the Louvre or a big full-scale show, so it was kind of really nice to do it for the customers (in Australia) who have supported us for such a long time," she told AAP on Thursday.
In typical Dinnigan style the collection featured touches of lace and beading on everything from evening gowns to more streamlined day wear, and a palette of black, navy and cream ruled the runway. I'll be surprised if one of these divine frocks doesn't make its way to the Logies red carpet this weekend. To see more key styles from the show, click on our slideshow.
