When Kate Moss stepped down as designer and spokesmodel for Topshop late last year, we were all a little curious as to whom Sir Phillip Green would pick as her successor. It's been reported he approached Courtney Love for the role, who apparently turned him down as she believes Topshop is too "downmarket" for her possible clothing line.
". . . apparently the thing with Sir Philip is, just to keep saying no to him is what he likes best. He's called me four times already, saying he wants to do a diffusion line. He said, 'I'm not looking for another Kate.' Well, that's good, because I am clearly not another Kate."
What do you think? Is Courtney a good fit for the brand? Would you buy from her collection?
