Dion Lee Takes NYFW and We're Obsessed With His Fringing
Australian designer Dion Lee took New York Fashion Week by storm over the weekend, impressing the likes of Natalie Joos, Margaret Zhang, Gemma Ward and Man Repeller's Leandra Medine with his perfectly polished Summer aesthetic. Sticking to his style ethos of creating sleek, innovative and wearable pieces you've never seen before, it was the heavy suede fringing that really got everyone talking.
While Dion stuck to his regular neutral tones of black, white, navy and nude, there were fiery tones in the mix to spice things up — suitable, considering Dion's inspiration for the collection was warmth and skin. Another talking point: the custom Sarah & Sebastian face jewellery that profiled each model's face to perfection. There was a lot to look at, yet we couldn't get enough — scroll to get a good look at the collection that has all of New York talking.
