Canadian twins Dean and Dan Caton of Dsquared2 aren't shy about pushing the fashion envelope. Their MO is high-camp meets American Gigolo and yet the formula appears to work ... i-bankers, trustafarians and IT geeks the world over all clamour to get their hands on the designer-denim-brand-done- good. For starters, the clothing is frivolous and fun and exists purely to make the wearer feel dandy. This season, the Dsquared2 man goes to Capri, via Rome, with an enviable wardrobe that is both dapper and resort-appropriate. Insouciant leather jackets and form-fitting shirts—which exude that expensive made-in-Milan sheen—make the signature denim look good. Add to the mix pastel-coloured blazers, budgie-smugglers and sexy suiting ideal for lounging around in swank nightclubs and five-star hotel lobbies and you've got yourself the perfect man-about-town uniform. If the formula ain't broke, why fix it?
