Not sure if you noticed, but back in Feb Fab went global. Literally. I was lucky enough to skip over to Singapore for the mighty hard task of shopping up a storm for three jam packed days. From the Marc by Marc Jacobs store stationed in my hotel lobby, to the local wonders of Haji Lane, to high end labels aplenty at Marina Bay Sands, I gave you guys a snapshot of the retail treats of the city known as the Little Red Dot. I'm dying to go back, and luckily there are flight on sale now so I'm booking to land in time for The Great Singapore Sale (only the greatest shop-a-thon we've come across) that kicks off May 27. Curious? Read on to get our retail report card....
Fab's Singaporean Must Shop Spots:
Orchard Road: This is the main shopping strip which houses ALL the international fashion giants. Topshop, Zara, Marks & Spencer, Uniqlo, River Island and Forever 21 star alongside flagships of Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and Burberry. ION Orchard is a great localized centre to find all of the big names under one roof (I went NUTS in Zara). For a handpicked selection head to Tyan and enVie de Pois — which both stock an eye boggling array of international labels and local Singaporean style treats.

Arab Street: A fab spot for traditional handicrafts and local textiles. The fabric shops are a feast for anyone who loves print and embroidery, whilst nearby Haji Lane is a great spot to hunt specialty boutiques for vintage and unusual fashions and gifts. Our faves included Sufi on Arab Street for traditional Turkish souvenirs, The Blogshop for quirky and cute accessories, Salad Shop for great interior buys and Pluck for cool fashion served with a side of ice cream (seriously), all on Haji Lane.
