That old chestnut! Sheer tops are a sexy way of showing skin, without actually showing skin, if you know what we mean. If you don't want to go sans bra (like Lou Doillon did last night in Paris) you can still work the peek-a-boo look without looking prudey. The key is to have a good selection of undergarments that are nice enough to show off, but will maintain some degree of modesty. Tight-fitting, fine strapped singlets in black, nude and white are essential — just be sure that they’re pretty enough to put on show. Witchery do great ones, as do Seed. Scope Nearly Nude if you're after something super undetectable. Otherwise, wear a bra that borders on crop-top territory for the perfect sexy-but-respectable mix. American Apparel has great basic bandeaus, try out a sportier version from VPL, or check out Dion Lee's very cool strapped-in styles (available in store now at Desordre). Heading out at night?
