One day a few years ago, I was looking inside my wardrobe and hated everything I saw. Nothing matched and I wasn't proud of my clothes. I used to live alone and got into the habit of buying cheap for a quick fix, and all of a sudden, it was starting to show. In one afternoon, I cleared out 80 percent of my clothes and shoes. I created a mood board and decided on my dream style. Fast-forward a few years and I like to think I'm nailing it in the less-is-more department, and that goes for the layout of my wardrobe as well. I edit it with military precision, and I'm ruthless. My accessories are the easy part, thanks to my beloved stacked engagement rings and some simple PANDORA bracelets. If you like over-the-knee boots and crazy fun amounts of makeup, you'll want to get in here.

Oh sneakers, my comfortable little friends. When I'm not trying the latest must-do exercise in my Nike Free's for
POPSUGAR Health & Fitness, you can usually find me in Cons and jeans. I like to keep them nice and white using window cleaner and some paper towel.

Beside the delicious
Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud fragrance are a couple of my favourites from PANDORA's latest collection. PANDORA sterling silver bracelet, $89, striped pave charms, $69 each and sterling silver clips, $39 each. Cute fiancé in picture, priceless.

That fateful afternoon a few years ago, I had over 50 pairs of shoes. Now it's more like 15, and that's including thongs! I keep my shoe colour palette neutral, and there's a shoe to match every outfit I own. If it doesn't fill a gap in my wardrobe, I don't buy it.

I like displaying my accessories on top of book stacks, on my beside table — anywhere I can see them. I love the idea of grabbing a ring or bracelet on my way out the door, I find what I pick usually speaks to my mood. I've had the four stackable PANDORA rings for years, and I like to mix and match them with my other silver rings from Dinosaur Designs.

Rather than hanging my bags, I stack them like knits on a shelf in my wardrobe. I've got a couple of special ones from Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana and Comme des Garçons, but I'm a massive advocate of the Zara clutch. Chain store minimal like no other.

That's Louis on the far right! We've become really close.

This is the more practical side of my wardrobe. . . As you can see I order everything in colour and that makes getting dressed at 5.30am a tad easier. I stick to mainly top quality t-shirts, tailored pants and asymmetrical skirts. My style is minimalist but also slightly masculine, so that's when my beauty editor brain kicks-in and I throw on a party lip and some candy-coloured nail polish. Let's dance?

Yes, my sweats are minimalist, too. Grey marle, leopard and stripes — it's a classic match that'll never date. Because really, who wants to spend money on house clothes every season? I, for one, have another black knit to buy.

pièce de résistance — the makeup section of my wardrobe. Being a beauty editor, I'm much more interested in experimenting with my makeup look than my style. I trial a lot of stuff, so I like to keep everything in its own little area. There's BB and CC creams, primers, lipsticks, bronzers, blushes, highlighters, eye pencils, brushes, foundations. . .

Perfumes, oils, mascaras. . . This particular line up includes green, purple, blue, brown and black lash options. 'Cos, well, you never know when you'll want to match your mascara to your eyeliner. (I dare you, it's very fun and flattering.)

In a moment my publisher likes to call
destiny, I walked past a Tuchuzy street sale and noticed these Alexander Wang over-the-knee boots. I'd been looking at them online for about two months (I blame Miranda Kerr), and then, like some sort of supernatural shoe moment, they were in front of me. One pair, my size, half price.

I'm love struck for pants at the moment. I've culled the dresses and thrown out the opaque tights to make room for my leathers, velvet wide-legs and staple Rag & Bone mid-rise skinnies.

Book stack and accessories! My man-style Marc Jacobs watch is getting on a bit now, but I quite like how the strap is tearing, fading and softening. The mid-finger rings are from Bondi Markets, and the line earrings, Etsy.
