Proof: Isabel Lucas Is the Ultimate Aussie Babe
Apparently, a picture says a thousand words, but these snaps of Isabel Lucas bring one in particular to mind — beautiful. We got to know the gorgeous Australian actress and model as Tasha in Home and Away, and while she's no longer on Aussie TV, we continue to see her in campaigns, films and setting a stylish pace on the red carpet.
The Transformers actor's latest gig saw her team up with two of Australia's most iconic brands for a film of a very different kind. Country Road and The Woolmark Company tapped Lucas produce a short film celebrating Australian wool, "Life Through Wool".
Just when you thought it couldn't get anymore Aussie, the shoot is also set at a rural sheep station. Isabel, who moved from the outback to Sydney for her role on Home and Away, opened up about the transition of relocating for work, "We lived in the country and I am from Melbourne but we were living in Cairns at that time. . . I didn't feel uncomfortable being in Sydney at all, it's an amazing city. I would say it was a coming-of-age time for me and I was developing my independence. I enjoyed being on my own and moving out of home. Prior to securing the role on Home and Away I met my manager by chance under a mango tree at the Port Douglas markets when she was on holidays. We got chatting and my instinct was that I trusted her. I saw a door being opened for me and I wanted to go see what was behind it and we just went from there," she said.
