2011 Spring Paris Fashion Week: Isabel Marant

Oh, Isabel Marant, why must you tempt me so with your light-hearted yet seriously fashionable gear? Season after season, the French designer stays true to her signature boho glam aesthetic, but constantly turns up the volume and changes up the scene. For Spring '11, it starts off with a little something like this: frilly ruffles, ditsy florals, pastel pinks, and loose-fitting tunic frocks. But if you think it's a line full of prissy pieces, you're wrong. Towards the end, Marant injects a tough edge via printed jeans, cool knits, mini cutoffs, checks and rugby stripes. All accompanied by either ankle-strap pumps or her signature slouchy, suede boots. For someone who's anti-consumerist, she knows how to create clothes women crave!
