Global Watch: Jessica Simpson Turns To Denim

Jessica Simpson is a fashionable force to be reckoned with. The businesswoman, who already has her own clothing, jewellery, footwear, swim, and lingerie lines, will be adding yet another notch to her belt. The celebrity designer has joined forces with Jones New York to create a complete denim line. The collection, set to debut in around 1,000 international stores in July, will include jeans, knit tops, jackets, and skirts.

“Because I live in denim, the fit was the most important,” said Simpson. “A girl’s booty needs to look good. I was inspired to create a great denim line that complements the entire Jessica Simpson lifestyle brand — a jean that becomes a girl’s best friend, that everyday go-to pair.” The collection also inlcudes boyfriend blazers, jeggings made in all kinds of washes, asymmetrical ruffled tanks, chunky knits, faux fur vests, and chiffon miniskirts.
