Kanye West's film Runaway literally blew us away. Yes, ok, so you need a lazy thirty minutes spare to see this feature length music-clip in its entirety, but it's worth it alone to see the ah-mazing clothes featured from runway king Phillip Lim and renowned theatre costumer Martin Izquierdo. Runaway is Kanye's debut film effort and features a medley of tracks from his upcoming My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album, pegged for release November 22nd. Victoria's Secret angel Selita Ebanks stars as Kanye's feather clad love interest, her phoenix form apparently representing the muso's celebrity rising from the ashes (perhaps after the PR fire that was the 2009 VMA's/Taylor Swift incident). Name checking Dior, Versace and flavour of the season Phoebe Philo, Kanye reminds us of his fashion nous, and on a purely aesthetic level we can totally appreciate his dramatic filmic style. Settle in and take a look.
