Kate Middleton's Latest Look Includes an Important Tribute
Kate Middleton's acute awareness for the occasion and the appropriate dress was on display this weekend for the British Remembrance Day services. She joined Prince William at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday, where she stepped out in a black coat dress and coordinating black pumps.
On Sunday, the duchess stepped out again with Prince William and the royal family at the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph war memorial. Again Kate chose a black coat dress, this time by Diane Von Furstenberg, and finished the look with a pair of drop pearl earrings and a matching hat. Still, her most important accessory was the tribute pinned to her jacket. The red poppies she wore symbolise remembrance and hope and point to the subtle ways Kate's outfits always make a thoughtful statement.
