Kiniki tan through swimwear hits Australia

News Now: Kiniki Causes Outrage

UK label Kiniki is making its way to our shores this Summer, introducing Tan Through swimwear.

Using a new fabric called Transol, the swimsuits are designed to allow for an all over tan, with 80% of harmful UV rays able to be passed through. The NSW Cancer Council is outraged at the product, deeming them "dangerous and irresponsible."

Kiniki's not so convinced. Although their webiste does suggest to apply sun protection, they also reccommend "moving seams and straps periodically" to help get a bronzed, seamless tan. Hmmm.. I might take Bella's advice and stick to the no-tan, tan, this season.
