As responsible adults, there are plenty of times when we wish we could go back to the simplicity of being a kid — colouring-in being the top of your to do list, having afternoon naps ... and wearing designer kids’ clothes. More specifically, Stella McCartney Kids clothes, which just launched in November. Being a stylish kid these days is so much easier thanks to options that include cute printed tops, structured coats, skinny jeans and smock dresses with button detailing — all playground — and (mostly) environmentally-friendly! Let’s not forget that this is the woman who designed a collection for GAPKids that saw adult women trying to fit into clothes for 12-year-olds. So just like her GAP collaboration, Stella’s own Kids line is highly covetable.
In designing the range, Stella said, “I wanted to create a desirable, fun, wearable kids collection that was affordable. I feel like all the timeless children’s wear is reserved for the expensive brands and that did not sit well with me.” After recently giving birth to her fourth child, Stella’s growing brood means she’s got the perfect models to road test her range. And with prices starting from approximately $25, your kids, cousins, nieces and nephews can too! So thank you, Stella McCartney, for giving us 2010’s Cutest Kids Range. We absolutely j’adore.
