Dolce & Gabbana made first tracks at Milan Fashion week this morning, with their D&G diffusion line. In full apres-ski mode, models schussed down the runway clad in Nordic sweaters of all proportions teamed with leather bloomers, fur minis and knit leggings. The sensibility sportif was also tempered with a more feminine edge of sheer leaf-printed flowing skirts and blouses. And just when you thought the theme couldn't take more ribbing, D&G pressed on to embellish their fall line with matching glitter ski-goggles, Nordic knit hat and scarf sets, and fabulously furry mukluk boots. Don't know how they traversed to the B&W theme with pussy bows in tow for the finale, but, heck, all that other Winter Olympics glory was epic.
