RAFW 2010: Ginger & Smart

You know a show's going to be exciting when the front row crowd is buzzing with hot-off-the-runway guests! Alyssa Sutherland was hard to ignore as she sat front row in a black asymmetrical dress and to-die-for Miu Miu printed bird ankle boots. The collection was just as impressive. Ginger & Smart always have a clever way of incorporating beautiful light into their shows. This year, it was in the way of a 'transcendent' state. Models shimmied down the runway in lilac infused harem pants, trench coats and structured vests leaving a bright white background behind them. Architectural shaped heels and perforated leather accessories injected a sharp touch to soft silhouettes and fluid separates, while blurred prints kept the loyal G&S customer happy. You just can't go wrong with this futuristic yet feminine collection.
