Style Stalk: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

When it comes to celebrity-turned-designers, there are only a select few who manage to survive in the cutthroat fashion world. Part of the reason Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have made it this far with not only one, but two successful fashion lines under their belts is because their influence among the style set was noted way before they decided to add ‘designer’ to their résumé — remember that hobo-chic phase? The twins were among the first to start it. They’ve also penned a book about fashion, aptly titled Influence, and now their clothes from Elizabeth and James and their high end basics label The Row are worn by celebs and normal peeps alike.
