Global Watch: Rachel Zoe Goes Bananas On Gossip Girl

We may have peed a little in our pants (sorry for the visual guys!) when we heard about Rachel Zoe's Gossip Girl cameo. Star and chief stylist of the Rachel Zoe Project makes her debut in episode seven, which is in the fourth season airing now in the states. We DIE! Fingers crossed Rachel tells Blair Waldorf what she really thinks of those alice bands, or maybe she'll swap style tips with Serena Van der Woodsen? Joining the fashionable cast is Joe Zee, Creative Director at Elle, and fashion designer Cynthia Rowley. Seems the fash-pack cameo is a favourite trick of the Gossip Girl producers, with Karl making an appearance in Paris as well as Lou Doillon, Tim Gunn, Karlie Kloss AND Isaac Mizrahi rumoured to be popping up in the current season, too. Do these well known fashion faces add cred to the show, or does it just look like a PR stunt? I kinda like spotting a familiar face, but maybe it's a bit LAME-O. Thoughts?
