Global Watch: Rebecca Minkoff Adds Footwear To Her Line

To round out her cool collection of ready-to-wear and handbags, Rebecca Minkoff is set to launch a 25-piece footwear collection come Spring. Apparently, this has been in the works for a while: "I've been wanting to do this for three years, but I wanted to wait until it felt right," said Minkoff. It feels right to us, too. We can't wait to see the designer's signature details make their way into footwear. Most of the styles will feature a signature leather flap "MAB" detailing, a nod to the Morning After Bag, Minkoff's first-ever handbag. The shoes are set to make their debut at Minkoff's ready-to-wear presentation next month during Fashion Week, and you can scoop them up for US$160 to US$395 online.
