2010 Fall New York Fashion Week: Rebecca Taylor
What a flirty collection! Rebecca Taylor has certainly pepped up Winter this year, introducing pretty pastels, feather embellishment, leopard print and faux-fur to the mix at her recent Fall show. Admittingly, there isn't anything new here — as adorable as all the prints and details are, there's an obvious reference to past Marc by Marc Jacobs and Isabel Marant collections. However, Taylor has completley nailed the upbeat and feminine aesthetic we've come to expect from her. Ballerina skirts, ruffled blouses, sparkle tights and fluffy knits were to put simply, delicious, paired back with more classic military-style coats and tweed tailoring. It's no wonder this utterly wearable collection drew attention from a crowd including Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port. In a word — caaaauuute!
