Be still my beating heart! Dion Lee sure knows how to dazzle a crowd. Showing at The Sydney Opera House this morning, our glistening Summery-but-still-chilly weather was the perfect backdrop to his spectacular collection. Where do I begin? Perhaps with the architectural tailoring which was softened from last year with curvy edges and fluid shapes; or with the painterly-style prints working their magic on everything from mini dresses and skirts. Or should I zone in on the incredible (and my absolute favourite) gelato-coloured dresses which boasted fine pleating, drapery and subtle cut-outs? That's the trouble with a brilliant show, I just don't know where to begin. I know it's only Thursday but I'm going out on a limb here and calling this the best show of the week. Crazy beautiful.
