Brave New World: Benah's Future Facing A/W '12 Line
Benah has gone back to the future for Autumn/Winter 2012. Literally. Benah designer Brenda Harvey looked to Phillip K Dick's projections of the future for inspiration, resulting in a collection that is as future-facing as it is bound in retro-tinged yet naively modernist 1950s aesthetics. Played out in hologrammed metallics and digital prints, neat minimalist shapes and brushed hardware, the reliably-lush range of clutches and bags are present and accounted for, but they are joined this season by the brand's first-time foray into apparel via cashmere travel wraps, beanies and snoods, as well as suede brogues and a limited edition range of jewellery. Tour the dream-like look book (snapped by Ben Briand), and if you see something you just can't live without you can pre-order here. It's a brave new world, indeed.
