It's nice when others start to recognise what we've known for a long time; Australia has some brilliant designers. Shopbop is firmly in our corner, shining the shopping spotlight on some of our home-grown fashion heroes in their 'Australian Story' look book . It's an all Aussie collaboration, employing snapper Benny Horne, model Bambi Northwood-Blyth and guest edited by the lovely Zanita. And the threads? Stand-out pieces from sass & bide, Willow, Ksubi, Zimmermann, Dion Lee, Bec & Bridge all made the grade. We were lucky enough to quiz Shopbop's fashion director Kate Ciepluch on the e-tailer's Antipodium angle.

You must travel a lot for in your role — how do you pack for Fashion Week’s abroad? Definitively understand the conditions. This past Paris F/W (season) it was 80 degrees (farenheight)! I was so glad I brought shorts. Everyone was dying of heat in their winter items. I tend to pack a few really special stand-out items and lots of versatile things that are easy to mix and match. Classic blazers, hats, and booties are always with me when I travel.
